Your old phone is part of the story.
A community archive for the models people used, customised, dropped, repaired, lost and still remember.
Product history records release dates and specifications. Personal memory records what a phone meant: the ringtone assigned to a friend, the first blurry camera photo, a battery held in place with paper, or the keypad you could use without looking.
RetroPhones is building a community layer around the design archive. We are looking for specific, first-hand stories from the 1990s and 2000s—not perfect reviews.
What to include
- The brand and model, if you remember it.
- Approximately when and where you used it.
- One physical detail, sound or interaction that stayed with you.
- Why that memory still matters.

Do not include private phone numbers, addresses, passwords or other sensitive personal information. Only send photographs you own or have permission to share.
